The course is more demanding than it appears. The fairways are narrow and lead to small greens averaging 3,000 square feet that are generally flat and moderate in speed. There are four sets of tees to challenge all skill levels. Although this is a fairly short course, shot accuracy is a must. Water comes into play on most of the nine holes.

Green Mansions is a soft spike course.

Tee times are recommended in June, July and August; call 518/494-7222.

Certain tee times are reserved for League play from late May through Labor Day week:

• Monday afternoons (July and August), 4:00 - 5:30 pm, Mixed Couples League
• Tuesday afternoons, 4:00 - 5:30 pm, Ladies Twilight League
• Thursday afternoons, 3:30 - 5:00 pm, Chestertown Mens Twilight Golf League

• Wednesday morning league being set up now - summer only, tentatively playing at 9:00 or 9:30 am - call us at 494-7222 for details

The course opens in April, weather permitting, and closes October 31 each fall.
